Terms and Conditions
Direct Cremation Funeral
Payment is respectfully required within 48 hours of Gower Funeral Services being engaged in making the arrangements for your loved one’s funeral and bringing them into our care. Included in the price is collection from a single location within a radius of 20 miles from Reynoldston, Gower. Any additional mileage or collection to/from an additional venue will incur additional fees. Interest will accrue at 2% above the Bank of England base rate on any outstanding monies.
Modest Cremation Funeral
Payment is respectfully required within 48 hours of Gower Funeral Services being engaged in making the arrangements for your loved one’s funeral and bringing them into our care. Included in the price is collection from a single location within a radius of 20 miles from Reynoldston, Gower. Any additional mileage or collection to/from an additional venue will incur additional fees. Interest will accrue at 2% above the Bank of England base rate on any outstanding monies.
Simple Cremation or Burial Funeral
A non-refundable deposit is respectfully requested within 48 hours of Gower Funeral Services being engaged in making the arrangements for your loved one’s funeral and bringing them into our care. The deposit will be deducted from your final account. Third party costs will be invoiced separately and must be paid, along with the outstanding balance due to Gower Funeral Services’ , within 14 days of the invoice date (exceptionally some third party costs may be required to be paid in advance). Interest will accrue at 2% above the Bank of England base rate on any outstanding monies.
Traditional Cremation or Burial Funeral
A non-refundable deposit is respectfully requested within 48 hours of Gower Funeral Services being engaged in making the arrangements for your loved one’s funeral and bringing them into our care. The deposit will be deducted from your final account. Third party costs will be invoiced separately and must be paid, along with the outstanding balance due to Gower Funeral Services’ within 14 days of the invoice date (exceptionally some third party costs may be required to be paid in advance). Initial face to face consultation
We offer a very personal service which includes an initial face to face consultation. This will usually take place within 48 hours of the death of your loved one and may take place at your home (if local) or at an alternative local venue. In the event of access difficulties this meeting may take place by telephone or video/skype/facetime conference, if preferred. During the COVID-19 pandemic we will use out best endeavours to conduct a home visit in line with the government guidance.
Death Notices
We offer the opportunity for you to place a Funeral Notice of your loved ones’ death on our Announcements page, free of charge. This is limited to a short obituary (up to 200 words) and a photograph which will be published within 24 hours of receiving the details.
Donations
Donations and tributes may be made to your chosen charity through our website which directs you to our page on Love2Donate. Please see Love2Donate’s terms and conditions for full details of how donations are received by your chosen charity or charities.
Viewing by appointment
It must be noted that, in certain circumstances, it will not always be possible to view your loved one. If it is possible, then this is by appointment only at our Chapel of Rest and may incur additional costs depending upon which Funeral Arrangement has been selected.
Legal
The contract entered into and the services provided by Gower Funeral Services are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Complaints Procedure
In the unlikely event of a complaint, please put the details of your complaint in writing and send to our email : enquiries@gowerfunerals.co.uk . You will receive a written response within 28 days of receipt.

All information provided to Gower Funeral Services is treated confidentially and is subject to the UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR).
