The service that was received by Gower Funeral Services goes beyond any words that can describe appreciation. They were professional at all times and the very small details mattered. They did not stop caring at the moment the service is organised but continued to support the family not only to the day of saying goodbye but continued with supporting the family after such sorrowful time. Every phone call was received with love and attention to detail, Philippa took the time to listen and gave very good advice regarding the wishes of flowers and ordering items for that day of farewells. It is difficult to find words to express appreciation regarding Matthew who held the family with genuine love and sympathy. He is an angel regarding the amount of extra work that he gladly put into helping making the service of 'Nan' unforgettable. Thank you to Matthew and Philippa."

"Exceptional Service
My father passed away at the end of November. We looked at the usual nationwide funeral directors (some of whom were very unhelpful when we rang them) but, had also seen and advert for Gower Funeral Services and are so please that we decided to use their services. Both Phillipa and Matthew were brilliant, going above and beyond what you would expect them to do as a matter of course. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything about the arrangements, the service and after was exceptional. The whole family would highly recommend Gower Funeral Services."

"Incredible support
When my dad passed away suddenly in January the Police asked “Which funeral director would you like us to call?” We had no idea, we’d never discussed things like that. The police suggested calling the on call undertaker and we agreed, they said you can change them at a later date if you want to.
In the early hours of the morning Phillipa from Gower Funeral Services arrived at my parents home. Her calm and gentle way was so comforting and reassuring. Planning a covid-19 safe funeral certainly added an extra layer of worry but with the support of Gower Funeral Services we planned a very personal funeral that was a real celebration of my dad and allowed us to say our goodbyes in a way that felt right.
Matthew is a true gentleman, on the day of the funeral Matthew led the most beautiful cortège through Oxwich village and again at Llanelli Crematorium, his beautiful dress and majestic manner gave my dad the send off that he so deserved."

"Superb service- personable and professional, caring and capable
Amazing help and support, care and professionalism from a small but superb team- so much better than large multi-nationals. Nothing was too much trouble, highly recommended- they went over and above what we could have expected providing a much appreciated personal service and were available at any time to discuss any aspect of the funeral. We were so lucky to have chosen them and couldn’t have asked for anyone better. They helped make a very difficult time easier and managed every aspect to make it a very special, memorable and respectful occasion. Their knowledge of the area was also a bonus. As a family we consider we were very lucky to have used Gower Funeral Services and could not recommend them highly enough.

Just had to write a review following my experience with Gower Funeral Services. I was so impressed with the professionalism and courtesy shown by this caring company, not only on the phone but in person they go above and beyond to make you feel at ease with what is not an easy subject to discuss. They knew exactly how to personalise everything from start to finish and really allow personal wishes to be catered for no matter how big or small those are. I didn't know what to expect and felt apprehensive but they were calm, confident and very caring, a true asset to to their industry. Highly recommended and appreciated. Thank you for everything."
